Hope your day was as beautiful as the weather!

Wow!  What a beautiful day.  It was so nice to look out and not see snow or rain and actually see the sun!  We stayed in today but I worked on cards for the blog and Carl worked on his first-day cover collection as we watched the Olympics and, of course, the WVU Mountaineers ballgame.  So as I am watching TV and doing cards I can't do anything that is too labor intensive so this is the card I designed for today's blog.

Recipe:  Stamp Sets:  Just Buzzin' By (Item No.113228) and Picture This (a hostess set which is found in the Occasions mini).  Paper:  Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock and Tall Tales DSP (Item No. 115678).  Ink:  Black Stazon and Stampin' Write Markers - Crushed Curry, Creamy Caramel and Close To Cocoa.  Accessories:  1 1/4" Punch (Item No. 104400) and Small Oval Punch (Item No. 107304).

Love Bandit

I just love this little guy.  I just wish when squirrels visit my house they would bring me flowers instead of eating the food from the birdfeeders :)

To make the card I used the Stampin Up! Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die (Item No. 114506) using the Big Shot Die Cut Machine (Item No. 113439).  The stamp sets used in this card were Love Bandit (Item No. 117086 (Woodblock) or No. 118577 (Clear Mount) - I used the clear mount and used Block C (Item No. 118486)) and Love You Much (Item No. 113756). The punches used were Curly Label (No. 112208) and Scallop Circle (No. 114889).  I used Sending Love Specialty Paper (from the Occasions Mini), Whisper White cardstock (Item No. 100730), Real Red cardstock (Item No. 102482) and Pretty In Pink cardstock (Item No. 100459).

Peace Within

Another Spring-themed card.  When friends of mine saw this stamp set in the catalog, they said it was so me.  Therefore, it was a definite purchase.

This is a gatefold card.  The only thing that was time consuming was the coloring of the picture.  RecipeStamp Set:  Peace Within.  Paper:  Sending Love DSP, Pretty In Pink, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla Cardstock; Ink:  Staz On Black; Stampin' Write Markers - Crushed Curry, Caremo Coral, Ruby Red, Old Olive, Really Rust, Summer Sun, More Mustard, Close To Cocoa, Chocolate Chip.  Accessories:  Snail Adhesive.

Easel Card

You that follow my blog should get all excited because I'm going to have cards posted every day this week!

I was challenged to do a Spring-themed card.  Now, I said to myself, this should not be hard; however, the more I thought about it, the harder it became.  However, mojo finally prevailed and I came up with this card.  There are two views of this card.  The first view is of the card when it is closed:
The second view is of the card when it is open and standing.

The recipe for this card is: Stamp Set: Vintage Labels from Sale-A-Bration.  PaperSending Love Specialty DSP; Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Pretty In Pink and Real Red Card Stock.  Ink:  Real Red.  Accessories:  Big Shot, Flower Blossom Sizzlit Die, Stampin' Up! Little Leaves Die, Eyelet Border Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Fine Galaxy Stampin' Glitter, Crystal Effects, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals, and Snail Adhesive.
